The Republican Party of Armenia (Hayastani Hanrapetakan Kusaktsutyun), a national conservative party, obtained 33.91 % of the votes in the 2007 general elections, and, accordingly, 64 seats in the 131-member parliament.

Flag of the Republican Party of Armenia

The flag of the Republican Party of Armenia is prescribed in the Charter of the party, as follows:

12. Final provisions
[...]
12.3. The banner of the RPA is a white bunting with golden fringe, in the center of which the symbol of the RPA is depicted in the aspect ratio of 1:2. The symbol of the RPA is the traditional Armenian symbol of eternity with eight clock-wise petals, a sword and an eagle with spread wings are depicted in the center.
